Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time AP/CP Pathologist; NYS COQ strongly desired.

Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Replace a retiring member of an established group of five pathologists covering the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology needs of the entire integrated network
2. Primary duties are anatomic pathology sign-out.
3. General practice including minor teaching responsibilities and directorship of an outlying network laboratory
4. Approximately 20,000 surgical cases and 10,000 Cytopathology cases (2,000 non-gyn) are examined annually with the support of Pathologist’s Assistants and Cytotechnologists.
5. Annual Salary: $375,000 . This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
6. Sign-on Bonus up to $100,000

Job Qualifications

1. MD, DO or MBBS
2. Board Eligible or Board Certified
3. BLS Certification Required
4. Possession of or ability to obtain NYS Licensure and NYS certificate of qualification (COQ)
