Licensure & Certifications
Active New York RN license required (must be in hand – no exceptions)
BLS certification required
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
EPIC charting experience required
Patient Care Details
Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 (Med/Surg)
Unit specializes in care for:
Post-PCI patients
Pacemakers and AICDs
Post-myocardial infarction patients
Cardiac pharmacological interventions
Clinical Skills Required
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Rapid Response and Code Team participation
IV Therapy / Phlebotomy
Peripheral IV line care and management
Respiratory Care
Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
