Principal React/.NET Developer, New York

Lab49 seeking an experienced Principal React/.NET Developer with a primary focus in UI technologies such as Javascript, Typescript, React. This is a unique opportunity to elevate your career and gain unparalleled experience in one of the world's most dynamic business hubs.

As a Principal React/.NET Developer at Lab49, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change for our esteemed Financial Services clients. Operating within an Agile environment, you will tackle complex and challenging projects, leveraging your robust experience in front-end frameworks to design and construct the next generation of technology solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of commercial-grade web development experience.  
• 5+ years of experience in modern JavaScript, ideally TypeScript, building web applications with React. 
• 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in either functional coding in .NET development.
• Collaborate with designers and other partners to provide input on design & wireframing.  
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.  
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.  
• Knowledge of, and strong demonstrated interest in, global financial markets and financial products is a strong plus.  
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Math, or related work experience. 

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in a microservices setup
• Familiarity working with Material UI, Terraform, Entity Framework, and SQL queries
• Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Exposure to and experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity and Jenkins preferred)

The base salary range is: 

•    Senior to Leadership level - $180,000 - $220,000 

Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
