Production Design Manager

Our client is looking for a Production Design Manager to join their team. You will focus on production design and help oversee a team of 10 designers.You will work onsite in Manhattan Monday- Thursday and remotely on Fridays!Responsibilities:-Help with branding design, logo design, brand identity, packaging design, and merchandising design. -Lead the production design process for all packaging projects, from initial file setup through final mechanicals.-Create, revise, and finalize print-ready production files, ensuring accuracy in dielines, typography, barcodes, color builds, and regulatory information.-Partner closely with design, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure artwork consistency and timely delivery.-Oversee vendor coordination, including pre-press checks, color matching, proof reviews, and final approval of production assets.-Maintain and enforce brand standards across all packaging and related collateral.-Build and manage project timelines, ensuring all assets move efficiently through review rounds and meet production deadlines.-Implement best practices, tools, and workflows to improve efficiency and quality across the production pipeline.-Manage and mentor junior production designers as needed.Qualifications:-A portfolio showcasing branding design, logo design, brand identity, packaging design, and merchandising design. -Managerial experience is highly preferred -Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)-Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
