Assistant Chemist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate person with chemistry major to join our R&D team. As a Chemist you will play a crucial role in formulating and developing innovative products that meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong background in chemical engineering, cosmetic science and a passion for creating exceptional cosmetic formulations with the support of the GNT team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development activities to work on cosmetic products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

-Follow FDA guidance of cGMP, stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and emerging technologies in cosmetic chemistry to drive innovation and product improvement.
- Conduct thorough ingredient research and analysis to identify and select the most suitable components for product formulations.
- Perform stability testing and evaluate the performance, efficacy, and safety of cosmetic products.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including formulation records, lab reports, and technical data sheets.
- Troubleshoot formulation issues and recommend appropriate solutions to ensure product quality and stability.
- Assist in scaling up formulations from lab to manufacturing, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to lab safety protocols and best practices.

- Maintain and update cGMP documents

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, cosmetic Science, or a related field.
- Prior experience in cosmetic formulation and product development is preferred.
- knowledge of cosmetic chemistry principles, raw materials, and formulation techniques.
- Strong understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and product labeling requirements.
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment, formulation software, and relevant scientific tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for the cosmetic industry and a desire to create innovative and superior beauty products.
