Schedule

• Shift: Day/Evening
• Days: Saturday & Sunday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
• Weekly Hours: 32 hours (16-hour shifts)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a short-term contract opportunity in a fast-paced radiology environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following established protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Utilize appropriate kV and mA techniques for optimal imaging results
• Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks on CT equipment
• Administer contrast/radiopharmaceuticals per physician orders and established protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Follow radiation safety guidelines, including ALARA principles
• Perform quality assurance and safety testing
• Manage patient imaging data and ensure availability for radiologist interpretation
• Verify and handle radiopharmaceutical deliveries and dosage accuracy

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and protocols
• Ability to assess and respond to patient needs before, during, and after procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and adherence to safety standards

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year of CT experience required

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT Certification (Radiography & CT) – Required
• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T) – Required
• BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
• Certification to administer injections
