Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Optometrist to join our team at Bright Eyes Optometry. This position is perfect for doctors who need a flexible schedule. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients' vision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity tests, refraction, and ocular health assessments.
• Diagnose and treat vision problems, eye diseases, and other ocular conditions.
• Prescribe and fit contact lenses, eyeglasses, and other visual aids.
• Provide expert advice and education to patients regarding eye care, including proper eye hygiene and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with our team of referring ophthalmologists, opticians, and support staff to provide integrated eye care services.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in optometry and incorporate them into practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Uphold and promote the clinic's values, mission, and brand image.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid optometry NYS license
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of optometry practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and customer service.
