Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry Overflow, Rochester, NY. Start date 06/29/2026 for several weeks on a 3x12-day shift. Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for overflow med/surg telemetry patients, including remote telemetry monitoring and on-unit telemetry
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses per the care plan
- Manage feeding tube care (NG/G tube) and perform Foley catheter insertion and care as ordered
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and routine wound drain management as appropriate
- Conduct central line dressing changes when indicated; monitor blood product administration and related precautions
- Monitor blood glucose, obtain 12-lead ECGs, and deliver oxygen therapy as prescribed; support isolation precautions and communicate status changes using SBAR for ED patients

Requirements
- Active NY State Practical Nurse license in hand (no pending licenses)
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Willingness to float to med/surg patients as needed
