Private Family in Old Westbury, New York Seeking a Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
Position: Full-Time Live-Out Nanny
Schedule: MondayâFriday, 9:00 AMâ5:00 PM , with flexibility for travel and occasional overtime
Salary: $30â$40 per hour, depending on experience (overtime paid after 40 hours per week)
Start Date: ASAP

A warm, welcoming family based in Old Westbury, NY is seeking an experienced, engaging, and professional full-time live-out nanny to care for their 16-month-old child. The family is excited to be growing in the near future, so they are looking for someone with strong experience caring for both toddlers and infants who is interested in building a long-term relationship with their family.
The parents value professionalism, discretion, and teamwork. Mom is looking for a nanny who can become a trusted partner in raising the children while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Dad travels frequently for work, making reliability and consistency especially important.
Children: One 16-month-old, with another baby expected in the future
Pets: One family dog (must be comfortable around dogs)
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a 16-month-old toddler and eventually an infant.
- Plan engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and independence.
- Take the child out every morning for enriching activities such as story time, parks, classes, museums, or playgroups.
- Maintain a completely screen-free environment, keeping the child active and engaged throughout the day.
- Foster excellent manners, respectful behavior, and age-appropriate boundaries through positive guidance.
- Research and plan local activities and outings throughout the week.
- Build connections within the local nanny community and maintain awareness of family-friendly resources and activities in the Old Westbury area.
- Drive the child safely to activities and appointments as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the parents while maintaining professionalism and excellent communication.
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally as needed.
Travel Requirements
This position requires a nanny who enjoys traveling and is comfortable accompanying the family throughout the year, including:
- Approximately every three months for family travel.
- Quarterly trips to Los Angeles for approximately two weeks at a time.
- International travel, including an upcoming trip to London over Labor Day weekend.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule while traveling, with overtime paid for hours worked over 40 in a week.

Requirements
- Prior professional nanny experience caring for toddlers and infants.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable around dogs.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally on a regular basis.
Compensation & Benefits
- $30â$40 per hour , depending on experience.
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week.
