Position Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $125,000 - $140,689/year + Benefits

Weekly Hours: 35 Hours

Schedule: Monday – Friday (5 Days/Week)

Employment Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support a hospital-based Pathology Department with a strong focus on Chemistry Laboratory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate diagnostic testing, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting high standards of patient care through effective laboratory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee clinical laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures
• Supervise daily operations within the Chemistry Laboratory
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards
• Maintain accuracy, reliability, and quality control of lab results
• Coordinate laboratory workflow and support staff supervision
• Monitor laboratory equipment, supplies, and operational processes
• Provide training, guidance, and oversight to laboratory personnel
• Participate in quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant clinical laboratory experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Chemistry Laboratory operations
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a laboratory setting

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or Physical Sciences

• Minimum 5 years of equivalent clinical laboratory experience with supervisory responsibilities

Licensure / Certification

• Active Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) license or qualification (required)

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years overseeing laboratory operations
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong background in hospital or acute care laboratory environments
• Solid understanding of clinical lab procedures, compliance, and quality standards
