ABCD has a current and immediate opening for a fulltime Teaching Assistant in Training.

- General role:
Under the direction of the Teacher I and the Education Coordinator promotes the theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education, and family support. Puts into practice theories and sound principles of child education.
- Responsibilities:
Supervise a group of children independently under the direction of the Education/Disability Coordinator implementing and complying with the education program standards and coordinating all components of the program as they apply to her/his classroom.
- Education / Experience / Requirements:
- Preferred: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited institution.
- Accepted: Associate degree in a related field with 6 credit bearing courses relevant to competencies in early childhood education AND experience working with young children.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
