Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President to join the Firmwide Compensation team in a high-impact role supporting compensation planning, executive decision-making, and strategic outcomes across multiple lines of business.

As a Vice President within Human Resources, you will bring strong analytical rigor, sound business judgment, technical proficiency, and proven stakeholder management skills. You will have a demonstrated interest in simplifying and improving processes, driving innovation, and advancing the firm’s broader compensation philosophy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage firmwide compensation planning deliverables, including incentive compensation forecasting, year-end planning, financial outlook inputs, and ad hoc executive requests
  • Develop executive-ready analysis and communications that clearly explain compensation trends, drivers, risks, recommendations, and alignment to the firm’s compensation philosophy
  • Influence and partner across HR, Compensation, Finance, and other key stakeholders to understand business needs, align priorities, and deliver consistent, scalable solutions
  • Analyze compensation, headcount, financial, performance, market, and workforce data to support and advise on strategic compensation decisions, differentiation, and competitive pay practices
  • Maintain strong project management discipline by managing multiple deliverables and timelines while coordinating across stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to risk, control, regulatory, and policy requirements when working with sensitive workforce and compensation data

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 6 years of relevant experience in Compensation, Human Resources, Finance, or a related function requiring quantitative analysis, business judgment, and executive-level communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including the ability to create polished, executive-ready materials and communicate the story behind the data
  • Strong interpersonal, consulting, and partnership skills, with the ability to build credibility across HR, Compensation, Finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and the ability to challenge the status quo while balancing practical execution, creativity, and innovation

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience working with financial planning, headcount, expense forecasting, or incentive compensation forecasting processes
  • Familiarity with market data, executive compensation materials, compensation governance and controls, or related firmwide compensation processes
  • Experience with reporting, AI-enabled tools, or workflow platforms such as Alteryx, Tableau, QuickSight, Business Objects, or similar tools to improve reporting, decision support, or process design

To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this role. Likewise, JPMorgan Chase & Co. will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit, including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
