Butcher
We are seeking a candidate for this position with whole animal butchery experience.

Butchers are responsible for processing and merchandising whole animals including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry. Under the guidance of our Head Butcher, they work to fabricate these animals into retail cuts and value-added products.
Schedule: 40 hours / week
Requirements:
- Food Protection Certificate from the NYC Department of Health.
- A positive and committed attitude.
Physical Demands:
- Be able to lift at least 50 lbs and be able to push/pull a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and co-workers.
- Be able to stand and walk for 10 hours or more, 40 hours a week, depending on business needs.
Pay rate: Entry or apprentice level: $18/ hour
Relevant cooking or kitchen experience: $19/ hour
Relevant butchery experience: $20+/ hour
