The Sourcing Associate plays a critical role in supporting Sourcing and Product Development through advanced data analysis, systems management, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor partnership. This position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing sourcing and production data systems, managing costing methodologies, monitoring production timelines, and analyzing medium to large, complex data sets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify data discrepancies, risks, and opportunities and communicate insights to internal stakeholders
- Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular business reports related to sourcing, production status and vendor performance
- Process, analyze, and maintain medium to large-scale data sets to support sourcing, and production
- Track and manage production timelines, monitoring key milestones to ensure on-time delivery
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners including Planning, Finance, Product Development and Merchandising teams
- Support Product Development team with new product launches, system updates, and maintenance of accurate product databases and trackers. Assist with key initiatives, special projects, and day-to-day needs as required
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, operations or a related analytical role
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment
- Agile and adaptable with the ability to respond to changing priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with business reporting and operational analysis
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with experience processing and interpreting medium to large data sets
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Familiarity with product lifecycle concepts such as sampling, costing, and spec review
- Comfort working with CAD files or product specification documents a plus

Annual base pay: $70,000 - $80,000. Final pay rate shall be determined and is based on experience and qualifications.
