Our Client is seeking a DSP/Residential Aide to provide support and instruction to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a group home in the Valley Stream, NY area.



Compensation: $17-$19 per hour



SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth.
• Ensure all activities are designed to foster growth to each individual's highest level of accomplishment.
• Ensure all care and services are delivered in a climate of normalization, care and concern.
• Assist Consumers with daily nutrition and their medications.
• Transport Consumers to appointments (as needed)

• Valid Driver's License (not required but helpful)
• Ability to complete and pass mandated clearances
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working with the DDD population
• Must be comfortable toileting.

• Establish a relationship with one of the largest referral agencies for behavioral-health
• Compensation processed weekly
• Bonuses and incentives are offered

• Ability to grow professionally
• Compensated $17.00 to $19.00 per hour

• CPR
• First Aid
• SCIP (Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention)
• AMAP (Approved Medication Administration Personnel) not required but helpful.
