What You Will Do The Director of Omni Education Development supports Matrix & Pulp Riot brands as a pivotal extension, enabling the successful implementation and optimization of their existing education strategies across all business channels. You will contribute to cohesive education plans, aligning with Brand objectives and Distributor partner business models. This includes programming for Store, In-Salon, Digital platforms, and Market Events, ensuring a clear PPD Education learning path for the stylist community and field sales teams. You will ensure Matrix and Pulp Riot brands are well-communicated, given appropriate space, and a fair share of voice within national education strategies and PPD discussions with internal and external partners, including SalonCentric (Street, Store & Franchise), SRDA, and Region 9, helping them achieve the right presence in PPD meetings and facilitating as needed. The Director will drive the execution of the Omni Education vision, focusing on process optimization, data-supported guidance, and providing benchmarks to support Matrix & Pulp Riot Brands and all channels. While the brands retain ultimate strategy ownership, you will collaborate closely with various internal and external teams (Omni Brand Operations, Learning & Development, Business Development, PPD Brand Education, Training, Marketing, CRM Teams, PPD Level, Access, Shows & Events, and Distributor Education, Sales, and Marketing teams) to ensure appropriate programs are executed and deployed. You will be the primary contact for Brand and Distributor partners regarding education deployment, communications, and productivity towards goals. Additionally, you will lead key Transformation and Divisional initiatives, fostering operational excellence. This involves collaboration with the LEVEL Loyalty team, developing strategies to amplify PPD Education through SOPs, communications, and marketing for field teams and customers. You will also be responsible for training and development of internal and external Education teams to enhance the accuracy of the Education booking process and data output via the LEVEL platform, evolving ways of working with cross-functional partners, and assessing progress with recommended adjustments to advance efforts Responsibilities- Support brand education strategy execution and alignment across all channels.
- Contribute to PPD goal definition for education across digital, studio, and field, providing data-supported insights.
- Standardize education processes, promotions, and booking procedures for operational excellence.
- Develop and deploy universal processes and communications for transversal education topics.
- Analyze and report on education performance (ROI, P&L, sell-through), providing data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with LEVEL Loyalty to streamline education redemption and communication for the field.
- Serve as a key communication liaison for education deployment with distributor partners.
- Facilitate an equitable and balanced education calendar across all Brands by market, ensuring fair representation.
- Partner with Marketing, Access, and Level Loyalty to enhance accessibility to PPD digital education.
- Evaluate and communicate performance against PPD Education KPIs, driving actionable insights.
- Analyze monthly education reporting, making recommendations for Brand and Division KPI achievement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional PPD partners on brand launches to ensure effective education support for sales goals.
- Manage the Omni Education budget by Brand, including reconciliation and operational approvals (PO, PRF, Randstad, Zoom)
- An undergraduate degree or commensurate professional experience is required
- 7+ years of experience leading, training and motivating teams and high volume of business with diverse skill sets in a remote setting with a demonstrated ability to communicate vision and execute strategy
- Extensive experience in education within a big box retail and/or chain model, preferably with beauty, professional salon products or retail background.

- Ability and interest in extensive travel (up to 35%) and work weekends as needed
- Advanced proficiency in applications including Power Point, Excel, Word, Power BI, and Salesforce
- Experience in data compliancy
- 5-years experience in Professional Beauty Industry
- 3-5 years experience in Professional Beauty Education
- 3-5 years of event planning, education administration and/or related experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft applications including Power-Point, Excel, and Word (required) and SalesForce.com (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferable
- Cosmetology license preferred
