• Travel: $30/hr

• Local: $26/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Technician to support fast-paced emergency department operations. The ideal candidate will provide essential patient care, assist clinical staff, and perform technical duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily living activities in the Emergency Department.

• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.

• Take and record vital signs accurately.

• Perform EKGs and assist with arrhythmia monitoring.

• Conduct glucose checks via finger stick.

• Monitor and report telemetry surveillance.

• Support nursing staff with patient transport, positioning, and general assistance.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience required

• At least 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department Technician

• Phlebotomy experience required

• PCT Certification required

• BLS Certification required

• EKG/Arrhythmia certificate (Preferred)

• Medical Technician or Nursing Attendant certificate (Preferred)

• At least 1 year of experience as an EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or equivalent role preferred

• Strong communication and patient-care skills
