The Role

As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product experience from the ground up. While you will be working horizontally across the platform, our teams are split into Trading and Quant, and you will be building deep context on them to craft products that simplify complex workflows and deliver a best-in-class experience for our users.

• Trading —Building out the most powerful fixed income trading product the industry has ever seen, including modular trading systems and automation tools


• Quant —Building out our proprietary optimizer to create the most advanced, intuitive, and smart portfolio management system that helps our users easily manage portfolios at scale and leverage it to make intelligent decisions

This is a unique opportunity to help define processes, make a meaningful impact, and own the design vision for various products, all while shaping the design culture at Moment. This role is in-person at our NYC office and you will be joining the design team led by Billy Tseng , and working alongside Vova Vindar , our design engineer.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead design for core product areas and end-to-end user experience


• Partner closely with product and engineering teams to build high quality solutions that make the product feel intuitive, beautiful, and most importantly useful for users


• Lead user research sessions to understand workflows, mental models, and user behaviors


• Rapidly design and prototype ideas to help drive internal discussions as well as sales motion


• Contribute to the design system, building and experimenting with new interaction patterns and frameworks


• Shape design processes and culture!

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a product designer


• Strong portfolio demonstrating a high bar for craft and a deep understanding of building complex end to end experiences (B2B projects is a plus)


• Ability to research, understand, and distill user behaviors and interaction patterns into actionable solutions or improvements


• Excited by ambiguity, eager to take ownership, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional partners


• Extreme proficiency with Figma and prototyping; knowledge of frontend technologies is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

For this role, the salary range is $135,000 - $165,000. Actual compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and interview performance. In addition to a competitive salary and equity package, we provide every employee with:
