We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly organised Events Lead to join our growing team. This is a full-time position based in our New York, New York, United States office.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a wide range of corporate events, from industry trade shows to bespoke client functions. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence, generating leads, and fostering strong relationships with clients and partners through meticulously planned events. The annual salary for this position ranges from $57,000 to $95,000 USD , commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

* Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and business objectives.
* Manage the end-to-end planning and delivery of all events, including conferences, webinars, trade shows, and internal company functions.
* Create and manage detailed event budgets, ensuring all activities are delivered within financial parameters.
* Negotiate with and manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and venues to ensure high-quality service and value.
* Coordinate all logistical elements of events, such as venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup, and delegate management.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events across various channels to drive attendance and engagement.
* Oversee on-site event management, acting as the main point of contact to ensure a seamless and professional experience for all attendees.
* Analyse event performance, gathering feedback and producing post-event reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in an event management role, preferably within the technology or software industry.
* A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related discipline is desirable.
* Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Demonstrable experience in budget management and financial accountability.
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* A creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with event management software.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
