- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shifts: 4x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00-19:00, Night: 19:00-07:00), including 3 weeks of nights
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Patient Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
- Charting System: Epic (Epic proficiency required)
- Scrub Colors: Navy and white combinations
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1890 - $1940
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing units
- Epic charting system proficiency
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Recent acute care employment within the past 6 months
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of Rochester, NY
- Previous US nursing assignment required
- Deliver high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric populations on Med/Surg Telemetry units
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, respond to rapid response calls, and manage peripheral IV lines and oxygen delivery systems
- Implement isolation precautions and provide non-invasive airway management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Float to other nursing units as required
- Complete orientation and required training modules prior to assignment start
