Nurse Manager - Family Health Center

Leading New York City health system seeks a Nurse Manager for their Brooklyn family practice.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the medical practice.
• Counsels and coaches staff concerning their work performance and development, holds staff accountable for performance.
• Prepares staff schedules in a timely manner.
• Responds to staff, provider, and patient satisfaction needs and identifies and implements solutions in collaboration with related departments as needed.
• Communicate with patient/family needs in timely, positive manner and ensures service excellence among all staff.
• Promotes safety and risk free environment for patients and staff.
• Conducts quality improvement monitoring and participates in problem identification and solution to improve key processes/systems/patient care; shares results in staff meetings.
• Establish and maintain a process to promote a multidisciplinary team approach in developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care and/or family education.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to meet patient care needs or role model behavior.

Qualifications:

• New York State Registered Nurse license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Master's Degree required
• Three years of ambulatory care experience preferred
• Charge Nurse experience

 

Salary to: $130,000 - $140,000
