Structural Heart Disease Fellowship for 2026-2027
Lenox Hill Hospital offers a one-year, non-ACGME Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Structural Heart Disease for candidates who will complete an Interventional Cardiology training program by June 2026. This high-volume, multidisciplinary program provides comprehensive, hands-on training in transcatheter therapies, including but not limited to: TAVR, M-TEER/T-TEER, TMVR, TTVR, paravalvular leak closure, PFO/ASD closure, left atrial appendage occlusion, and pulmonary thrombectomy. Training includes advanced echocardiography and CT imaging for the management of complex structural heart patients. The program is integrated with Cardiothoracic Surgery, offering exposure to minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery. Fellows will have robust opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activity with dedicated protected time and mentorship.
This fellowship is available to applicants who are BC/BE in adult cardiology and interventional cardiology.

Lenox Hill is one of the few programs in the country with a dedicated Division of Structural Heart Disease within the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, fostering seamless collaboration. Lenox Hill Hospital’s cardiology program is ranked annually among the Top 20 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report, underscoring our commitment to clinical excellence, innovation, and outstanding patient outcomes. Our faculty includes two full-time Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologists, two Interventional Echocardiographers, and five Cardiac Surgeons, all committed to intensive mentorship, skill development, and career advancement for fellows.

Full-time clinical training compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $70K to $100K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
