Anticipated Vacancy:Home Health Aide Instructor

LOCATION(S): Adult Learning Institute
QUALIFICATIONS : Instructor must be a currently licensed NYS Registered Nurse with 2 years of nursing practice, at least 1 must be in provision of Home Health Care service in either article 36 or article 40 agency.
tasks: The chosen candidate will teach classes in introduction to HHA/PCA and Clinical/Laboratory Instructions; supervise clinical rotations; Perform related tasks as required, including tracking student attendance/hours (clinical and theory), test proctoring, and collaboration with other teachers/staff assigned to the Health Occupations Academy at ALI. Must coordinate expected curriculum, conduct practical training and perform all competency evaluations.
