Associate (Fixed Income) (New York, NY) Mizuho Securities USA LLCJOB DESCRIPTION: Support Cross Currency Swaps Trading to corporate and institutional clients. Collaborate with senior traders on the Cross Currency Swaps Trading desk, working closely with sales to facilitate structuring and market making of products, including Cross Currency Swap, FX Swap, and FX outright on G10 and emerging market currencies. Model and quote price for various products to address client inquiries and execute all products. Assist senior traders with risk management decisions and execution. Build models and spreadsheets to support the analysis of trading opportunities and the pricing of trades. Execute and hedge client trade by participating in markets and liaising with franchise. Assist in the creation of market commentary on cross currency swaps markets. Formulate independent market perspectives and contribute to the creation of market commentary on Cross Currency Swaps markets. Telecommute is permitted.REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Operations Research, Information Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Additional Requirements: FINRA Certificates: SIE - Securities Industry Essentials Examination, S7TO - General Securities Representative Examination, S63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination.Must have work/internship experience or completed graduate coursework/research in each of the following:1. Asset pricing theory (Overnight Index Swap and Community Supported Agriculture pricing).2. Multi-curve pricing model (cross-currency pricing).3. Stochastic process (option pricing).4. Time-series analysis, data cleansing and regression analysis.5. Graduate-level mathematics (calculus and liner algebra).6. Macro-economic analysis.7.
