Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit for a travel assignment in New York. This role involves dynamic shifts, alongside high-acuity patient management, making it ideal for a skilled nurse keen to expand their clinical practice in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Provide competent care based on established standards
• Assume expanded roles, including charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities
• Conduct Q1 neuro checks and manage EVDs, lumbar drains, and sub-dural drains
• Administer 3%NS and Cardene drips, monitor arterial lines
• Assist with carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm coil/clips, DBS insertion, VP shunts, and seizure management

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Two (2) Years Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Stepdown/PCU Experience
• High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience
• Telemetry Experience Required
• ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY) preferred
• NIHSS preferred
