Endoscopy Anesthesia - Physician - Upper West Side - Manhattan, NY
Job Description
Join our Anesthesiology team in this premier freestanding ambulatory endoscopy center associated with the Mount Sinai Health System.
This role is exclusively focused on providing anesthesia for GI procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs in mostly ASA 1 and 2 patients. This position offers a rare opportunity for clinical excellence in an efficient and physician friendly ambulatory site staffed by one of the most prominent Anesthesiology Departments in the county.

Predictable Schedule: Typical weekday hours (e.g., 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).

Focused Practice: Master a specialized scope of practice in a cohesive team of gastroenterologists and specialized nurses.
Qualifications
-
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree

Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesiology

Active state medical license and DEA registration
-
At least 1 year of attending experience

Competence and comfort with MAC and deep sedation as required without airway instrumentation
