Frisbee Coach (Spring Season)

Location: Midtown Manhattan, NY

Position Type: Part-Time / Seasonal

Season: Spring 2026

Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Frisbee Coach to lead youth practices this spring in Midtown Manhattan. The coach will be responsible for teaching fundamentals, organizing engaging drills and games, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment where athletes can learn, stay active, and have fun.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with kids, understands team sports, and can bring structure and enthusiasm to practices.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise Frisbee practices and scrimmages
• Teach basic throwing, catching, movement, and game concepts
• Create a fun, safe, and encouraging environment for all participants
• Manage group dynamics and maintain practice organization
• Communicate clearly with program staff and families as needed
• Ensure participant safety and proper equipment use

Qualifications:

• Experience playing Frisbee or Ultimate Frisbee preferred (coaching experience a plus)
• Experience working with children or youth groups
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to manage groups in an outdoor, urban setting

Schedule:

• Spring season (exact dates TBD)
• Practices held once or twice per week
• After-school or early evening hours

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly or seasonal pay, based on experience
