Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele (Telemetry) available for a travel temporary assignment in Massena, NY, United States. Start date: 06/01/2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $1,828–$1,935 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. Setting: Critical Access Hospital with an MS/Tele unit. Epic charting is required. Patient population: Adults and geriatrics. Typical diagnoses include COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, non-specific abdominal pain, and chest pain (rule out). Daily census is approximately 20 patients on a 25-bed unit. This assignment requires travel experience and offers the chance to work in a community hospital environment with interdisciplinary support and a structured onboarding process.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care on the MS/Tele unit for adult and geriatric patients with telemetry monitoring
- Monitor telemetry rhythms, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid responses and codes as needed
- Administer IV therapy, start/maintain peripheral lines (including PICC considerations), and manage blood product administration
- Provide respiratory support support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, oxygen) and non-invasive airway management
- Administer medications per physician orders; manage common med-surg issues (e.g., COPD, pneumonia, cellulitis, abdominal pain, chest pain rule-out)
- Collaborate with PT, Respiratory, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary; follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols; document in Epic

Requirements
- Active NY RN license in-hand to submit
- Epic charting experience required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; travel experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Telemetry/Med-Surg clinical competency; ability to float to cover unit needs; weekend shifts required
