BOTOX COORDINATOR JOB ROLE

The Botox Coordinator is responsible for obtaining all Botox authorizations, verifying patient insurances for Botox procedures, ordering and tracking Botox medication, discussing patients' financial responsibility for injections, and keeping an open line of communication with the in person office staff (admin and providers). Periodically meet with Allergan representatives to keep abreast of updates and changes with regard to the Botox medication, insurance criteria, authorization issues, specialty pharmacy issues, Botox Savings program, and reimbursement policies.

A few days of the week, you will work with our Botox coordinator and assist in completing Botox authorizations, verifications, order Botox from the specialty pharmacies, and review Botox reimbursements to ensure that claims are paid. The remainder of the week, you may be assigned to another role within the front desk or back-end of the office depending on staffing needs.

Botox Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all Botox orders and schedule deliveries from the specialty pharmacies
• Complete all authorizations for Botox
• Complete all Botox insurance verifications (BOTOXONE site and verbal verifications)
• Communicate with patients their financial responsibility for the injections and the medication and offer financial solutions when patients must pay out of pocket for the medication and/or injections
• Generate a monthly report for Botox and input all the Botox appointments for the month on the Botox tracker for ordering and authorizations

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
