Offset Press Operator

We are looking for a skilled Offset Press Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our multi-color offset printing presses. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for color consistency, a mechanical mindset for troubleshooting, and a commitment to producing high-quality print materials at peak efficiency. How to Apply

Responsibilities

• Setup & Make-ready: Review job specifications (ink, paper stock, quantity) and perform full press setup, including plate mounting, ink fountain adjustment, and feeder calibration.

• Production Management: Monitor the press during runs to ensure consistent ink/water balance, registration, and color density.

• Quality Control: Pull samples frequently to check for hickeys, ghosting, or color shifts, making real-time adjustments to meet client proof standards.

• Maintenance: Perform routine lubrication, roller cleaning, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve mechanical issues or paper jams quickly to maintain production schedules.

• Safety: Maintain a clean work area and strictly adhere to all OSHA and shop safety protocols (Lockout/Tagout, chemical handling, etc.)
