Job Overview
TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – Operating Room (OR) for travel assignments . This role involves assisting in surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with the surgical team . Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments .
- Assist surgeons during operative procedures , passing instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety throughout surgery.
- Administer medications, anesthesia support, and IV fluids as needed.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and aseptic techniques .
- Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care .
- Travel to various hospitals and surgical centers for temporary assignments .
Qualifications
- Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in the Operating Room (OR) .
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in surgical instrumentation, aseptic techniques, and patient monitoring .
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long hours and assist with patient positioning .
- Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
