Gibney's is a busy three-floor Irish bar and restaurant in Midtown Manhattan, with a rooftop, private event spaces, live sports, and events throughout the week. We pride ourselves on great food, genuine Irish hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both our guests and staff.
We're looking for a reliable Dishwasher with weekend and flexible availability to join our kitchen team.
Pay: $18–20 per hour (DOE)
ResponsibilitiesWash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
Keep the dish area, kitchen, floors, and workstations clean and organized.
Operate the dishwasher and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked.
Remove trash and recycling throughout the shift.
Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries when needed.
Help with basic food prep as directed by the kitchen team.
Follow all NYC Department of Health regulations and company sanitation standards.
Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
Previous dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
Spanish is required.
Strong understanding of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety.
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts.
