Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain organized filing systems for both electronic and paper documents.
• Process and file documents in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist in retrieving and copying documents for staff and clinical personnel.
• Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Perform regular audits of filing systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support the administrative team with additional clerical tasks as required.
• Communicate effectively with staff to resolve any filing issues.
• Collaborate in implementing new filing practices to enhance efficiency.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; further education in office administration preferred.
• Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of file management principles and practices.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare settings is a plus, but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
