JOB SUMMARY
The host is the guests first point of contact. The host must have impeccable telephone etiquette and a pleasant face to face demeanor. Hosts must be able to communicate clearly with guests as well as effectively obtain guest information to ensure guest reservations and requests are handled correctly. The host is responsible for greeting every guest that comes in with great hospitality and also saying goodbye to everyone that leaves.
- Must be able to work in a team. Teamwork is essential at Aejo.
- Must have the able to stay clean and organized throughout a shift
- Must remain friendly and enthusiastic for the entire shift
- Must appear graceful and calm everywhere in the restaurant
- Must Arrive to work looking sharp and professional. Your appearance is the guests first impression of you.
- Must be able to handle problems and difficult situations effectively
- Must have an excellent ability to take direction and work in a team environment
- Must be committed to Hospitality and our guests.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing during entire shift
- Working indoors and outdoors
- Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts from broken glass, slipping and tripping.
- Frequent washing of hands
- Clean and presentable appearance clean shaven, no body odor wearing uniform at all times
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Special knowledge or skills necessary for this position:
- Product knowledge
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
- Extremely calm and effectively under pressure
- Health Department Procedures
