Operations Manager In Healthcare

Sapient Health Management is expanding its ambulatory surgery center (ASC) portfolio and is seeking an experienced Administrator & VP of Operations to lead day-to-day operations across multiple GI and surgical centers. The salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000.Initially, the selected candidate will serve as the on-site Administrator for our Rego Park ASC in Queens followed by our new Smithtown and Hamptons ASCs open, the role will transition into a multi-site leadership position with a set schedule that includes weekend coverage:- Saturday–Sunday: Hamptons ASC- Monday and Wednesday: Smithtown ASC- One additional weekday: Assigned based on operational needs. We are looking for a hands-on, solutions-oriented ASC leader who is comfortable with weekend work and frequent travel. Candidates residing between Smithtown and Hampton Bays (approximately 50 minutes apart) are especially well-positioned for this role. Key Responsibilities:- Lead daily operations at assigned ASCs, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant care.- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and team performance.- Partner closely with physicians, anesthesia, nursing, and corporate leadership to drive quality and growth.- Support regulatory and accreditation readiness and follow-up.- Monitor operational and financial performance and implement improvement initiatives. Qualifications:- 3–5+ years of leadership experience in an ASC or outpatient surgery setting.- Strong understanding of ASC regulations, quality programs, and survey readiness.- Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.- Willingness to work weekends and travel regularly between Queens, Smithtown, and the Hamptons.
