Shift: Day Shift – 3x12 Hours (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic healthcare team in an acute care setting. This role involves delivering high-quality respiratory care with minimal supervision, ensuring optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and other respiratory treatments
• Operate and manage ventilators and life-support equipment
• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpret results
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including code blue events
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and sanitation of respiratory equipment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• Valid New York State Respiratory Therapist license
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Strong knowledge of ventilator management and critical care protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure healthcare environment
• Prior experience in acute care, ICU, or emergency settings preferred
