Licensed Practical Nurse

Our client, a dedicated healthcare provider, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be part of the nursing staff supporting the well-being of residents. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a compassionate nature, and a commitment to patient care, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Montrose, NY

Pay Range: $32 per hour

Shifts: Monday-Friday (Alternating Weekends)

1st Shift- 7:00am-3:30pm
2nd Shift- 3:00pm-11:30pm
3rd Shift- 11:00pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

• Provide nursing care activities to residents under the direction of the Nurse Administrator.
• Observe residents and report changes in their conditions to physicians or registered nurses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and wound care.
• Assist residents with daily living activities to ensure their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of residents’ conditions and treatments administered.

What's Needed?

• Current license and registration to practice as a licensed practical nurse in New York State.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to interact with residents and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents.
