Job Description
- Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and contracts related to M&A transactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate successful deal execution.
- Conduct due diligence and risk analysis for prospective deals.
- Advise clients on legal and regulatory implications of transactions.
- Support the preparation and delivery of presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments impacting the professional services sector.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A law degree from an accredited institution and a strong academic record.
- Bar admission in the state of New York or eligibility to practice law in New York.
- Proven expertise in mergers and acquisitions within the professional services industry.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services to clients.
