Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and highly skilled "B" Mechanic to support our production and processing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform equipment setup, repairs, and maintenance across a variety of systems including fillers, labelers, pumps, and piping. This role requires a problem-solver who can work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and repair production and processing equipment, including:

  • Rotary Fillers

  • Piston Fillers

  • Packette Fillers

  • Tube Fillers

  • Labelers

  • Ink Jet Coders

  • Mixing Vessels

  • Pumps

  • Steam and copper piping systems

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on water systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.

• Support facility operations by diagnosing and resolving equipment malfunctions efficiently.

• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts used, and work performed.

• Collaborate with team members and support other projects as needed.

• Remain flexible and available for overtime or shift adjustments when required.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Minimum of 2 years of related hands-on experience in a maintenance/mechanic role or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid authorization to work in the United States.

Technical Proficiency:

• Skilled in the use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Experience with electrical systems, pipe fitting, and mechanical diagnostics.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Soft Skills:

• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods.

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various machines and conditions.
