ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Safely operate motor vehicles in and around the shop.

• Diagnose and repair key systems including transmissions axles water pumps steering pumps alternators starters and surge brake units.

• Specialize in rebuilding truck component parts following U-Haul standards and best practices.

• Analyze failures determine root causes andperform precise repairs or replacements.

• Identify reusable parts to minimize costs without compromising quality.

TOOLS & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service bulletins.

• Skilled in explaining technical concepts and mentoring less experienced team members.

• Proficient with hand tools power tools micrometers presses pullers and cleaning machines.

• High attention to detail and coordination of mental and visual focus with manual dexterity.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand walk bend crouch and lift up to 50 lbs (assisted or unassisted).

• Comfortable with repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Exposure to moving parts machinery fumes and chemicalssafety gear provided and required (masks goggles gloves shields).

• Moderate risk environment with strict adherence to safety protocols.
