Bast Hatfield Construction is hiring a project manager with a proven construction background and someone ready to own the process to lead multiple projects ranging from $100K to $10 million.

Senior Assistant Project Managers or Junior Project Managers with a few years under their belt are encouraged to apply!

Bast Hatfield has been named a Top Work Place by the Times Union for 12 years running. MUST be a get-it-done person! Superintendents lead field crews; this is mostly an office position with local travel for meetings & jobsite visits.

Primary Work Activities

• Effectively manage projects in different markets (commercial, retail, hospitality, etc)
• Change order and contract management
• Submittals, RFIs, schedule creation/maintenance, pay apps & related
• Buyouts & scope confirmations
• Facilitate in-house labor planning

Qualifications

• The AMBITION to EXCEL in your career.
• 3 years minimum experience working as a project manager in the construction field for commercial and/or public works project as a GENERAL CONTRACTOR.
• Experience with both PUBLIC and PRIVATE work a plus.
• Hands on field experience also a plus.
• BS in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred. Related degrees accepted.
• Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; computer skills are a must

Compensation

• Salary will be AMAZING. It will be determined based on the candidate. Full comp package may be worth up to 50% or more of base salary.
