As a Sales Associate at The UPS Store, it is your utmost responsibility to deliver world-class customer service at all times. You will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service through customer interaction and quality product delivery. Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Operating POS/cash register - good math to give change accurately
- Knowledgeable in providing dimensions & Measuring Boxes for packaging;
- Operating a Large Copying Machine to copy, print and scan
- Talking to customers to Identify their needs and how to offer services
- Packaging items for shipment
- Measuring Boxes using measuring tape to determine shipping dimensions
- Receiving and manifest incoming packages for mailbox customers
- Operating and understanding operation of copiers, fax machines, and all other printing equipment
General Requirements:
- Must cross-sell and up-sell all products and services
- Continued growth through self-induced training
- Must complete all tasks assigned by manager or supervisor
- Always be proactive, not reactive
RESPONSIBILITIES
In order to be considered for this outstanding opportunity, you must be sales driven, self-motivated, personable, dependable, reliable, trustworthy, motivated, detailed oriented and willing to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. You should be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week and must be available to work Saturday & Sunday. This is not a seasonal job; applicants must be available on a permanent basis. Sales / Print Associate will operate copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminators and cash registers, among other daily tasks. The Associate expertly advises our valued customers by providing accurate information on our array of products, services, and best-value options and exhibits confidence by knowing best practices related to the industry. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of customer service experience, one to two years of experience in a print production/graphic design role, experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office , A PLUS . Knowledge of printing concepts, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. The ideal candidate is driven to succeed and is an energetic self-starter and team-player who is trustworthy and a fast learner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates or Bachelors Degree required
- Over 3 years Retail/customer service experience
- Good communication and people skills
- Strong Math, Spelling, office and computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Outstanding phone skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math
- Prompt, reliable, and responsible
- Able to lift 50+ pounds
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
