About the Role:
Join NYC Behavior Specialists LLC as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Oakland Gardens, NY. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies to ensure effectiveness.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide training and support.
- Document and analyze client progress, adjusting plans as necessary.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client needs.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to RBTs and other staff members.
- Stay current with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Engage in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
- Active BCBA certification with a strong understanding of ABA principles.
- Experience working with diverse populations and various behavioral issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to client success.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing training and professional development.
