Little Something is hiring a detail-oriented and reliable Night Auditor to join its hotel operations team in New York City. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records during overnight operations while ensuring smooth front desk guest services and high-quality customer experiences.

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing daily revenue, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports while also assisting guests with check-in, check-out, and general service needs. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage both financial and customer service responsibilities during overnight shifts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Performing nightly audits and balancing hotel accounts accurately
- Reconciling cashier reports and ensuring proper financial documentation
- Maintaining and updating guest records and room availability systems
- Preparing and distributing daily operational and financial reports
- Processing and reconciling credit card transactions and settlements
- Entering and updating financial data into internal hotel systems
- Assisting guests with check-in, check-out, and front desk services
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving concerns in a professional manner
- Monitoring guest satisfaction and contributing to service improvement initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and workplace standards
- Supporting overall hotel operations and completing additional assigned duties
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in night audit, hotel accounting, or related training required
- Strong computer skills including Excel and basic accounting systems
- Good arithmetic and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Food Safety Certification (FSD) required within 90 days of employment
