The Position
Our client is seeking to fill a Commercial Real Estate Loan Processor role located in the greater New York, NY market. The position is responsible for the preparation, accuracy, and completeness of Commercial Real Estate loan packages, using the Bank’s documentation system and procedures.
The opportunity has a generous salary of up to $65K and an outstanding full benefits package. (This is not a remote position.)
Commercial Real Estate Loan Processor responsibilities include:
- Producing and preparing CRE loan documents; ensuring files are complete, accurate and in accordance with Bank loan policy and guide.
- Complying with all FDIC regulations and other banking standards.
- Maintaining contact with members of the Lending team (Lender and Administrative Assistant) to obtain clarification and provide status updates.
- Determining document options and presenting options to the lender as applicable.
- Submitting completed loan documents to QC for review.
- Recording and tracking documentation exceptions.
Assisting with additional loan operation roles, as requested or necessary

You also bring the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Three or more years of related loan processing experience and/or training for all types of loans – Commercial Real Estate, Construction, and other Commercial loan types.
- Work-related experience should consist of Commercial Documentation, Legal, or Business
- Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
- Solid working knowledge of banking industry practices relative to bank loan operations with respect to loan products, services, and terminology.
- Knowledge of commercial, construction, real estate, and processing.
- Knowledge of related state and federal lending and compliance laws and regulations, and other Bank lending policies.
- Highly accurate data entry skills and a strong level of skill working with a variety of PC and internet applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and the ability to navigate key industry-specific Internet sites.
- Strong multi-tasking, time management, thoroughness, and accuracy skills required.
- Solid communication and organizational skills with a focus on teamwork and cooperation.
- A high level of confidentiality required.
- Ability to work under deadlines with frequent interruption.
