Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDN)-Private Practice Role in NY

The Dietitian Group is looking for a compassionate and credentialed Registered Dietitian (CDN) to join our growing outpatient nutrition team in New York. If you're passionate about personalized care and helping patients improve their health through nutrition, we’d love to hear from you.
· Location : Spring Valley, NY
· Employment Type : Contractor, Full-time or part-time
· Setting: Private practice
· Schedule: Late Afternoons into Evenings
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients’ nutritional needs using evidence-based guidelines
- Create and manage personalized nutrition care plans
- Educate and counsel patients on diet, health conditions, and lifestyle habits
- Track patient progress and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers for integrated care
- Serve patients across various life stages and conditions (e.g., diabetes, GI, weight management)
- Maintain documentation in accordance with practice standards and legal requirements
Qualifications:
- Active CDN (Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist) license in New York
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) or CNS credential preferred
- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems and telehealth a plus
