Title: Lingerie & Intimate Designer
Location; NYC, NY
Duration: 03 Months Contract
Category: Lingerie (bras, panties, teddies, corsets, babydolls, garter belts) & RTW (slips, skirts, dresses)
Responsibilities:
- Create brand-right, commercial designs reflecting business strategy.
- Develop seasonal products focusing on style, fit, and fabric.
- Deliver sketches, prototypes, tech packs, and final specifications.
- Adapt designs based on feedback and collaborate with vendors, merchandising, marketing, and product development teams.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis.
- Support internal presentations, fittings, and custom requests.
- Maintain accurate line sheets and PLM system data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design; 3+ years in retail fashion design.
- Experience in lingerie/corsetry and knowledge of female silhouettes.
- Strong fashion sense, attention to detail, and commercial styling ability.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; PLM knowledge a plus.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible, motivated, and able to adapt quickly; moderate domestic travel.
