Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work Onsite with our client in Williamsville, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Ensure all mail, trailing documents, credit files, and closing packages are received and updated on the mortgage production system.
• Contact settlement agents to retrieve trailing documents and audit documents received by the data on the mortgage production system, as well as investor guidelines.
• Track receipt of mail, trailing documents, credit files, and closing packages, and update the mortgage production system accordingly.
• Match up credit files and closing packages to be prepped and scanned to the imaging software.
• Update file tracking software and process the barcode for the credit file.
• Ensure all checks received in closing packages are processed appropriately and promptly.
• Audit trailing documents (Mortgages, Assignments, Consolidation Agreements (CEMAs), and Final Title Policies) per investor guidelines and in comparison to data on the mortgage production system.
• Contact settlement agents and title companies (via phone, fax, or email) to request outstanding documents and corrections.
• Complete various projects, as assigned, either individually or in a team environment.
• Generate and follow up on daily department reports, as needed.
• Communicate with impacted areas regarding exceptions as they arise.
• Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
• Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client's brand.
• Maintain client internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points, together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

Hours: M-F Business Hours **Onsite

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of business experience in Operations (Lender, Title Company, or Settlement Agent's office).

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Associate Degree.
• Prior mortgage and customer service experience.
• Good PC skills with working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis placed on detail.
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team environment.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Good work ethic, reliable, and dependable.
