Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Lead Infant Room Teacher to join our team at our Townline Road location . This role is ideal for someone who is loving, kind, patient, and deeply passionate about infant care. The Lead Infant Teacher plays a vital role in creating a calm, structured, and nurturing classroom while supporting infants’ emotional, physical, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the infant classroom
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and routines
• Support infants with feeding, diapering, soothing, and sleep routines
• Observe, document, and communicate infant development with families
• Supervise and support assistant teachers and aides
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Ensure all licensing, health, and safety regulations are met

Qualifications

• CDA, Associate’s Degree, or higher in Early Childhood Education (required)
• Experience working in an infant classroom preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a teaching team
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
