The role of a Bemelmans Busser is responsible for the overall guest experience within the Bar to include but not limited to, cleaning the tables, picking up food from the kitchen, serving water and snacks, and setting up tables for dinner.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Communication - captains must be attentive listeners
- Good customer service, maintaining a high attention to detail, working Quickly
- Multitasking
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and coordination skills as they interact with guests, chefs, servers and other staff regularly.
- Positive attitude towards guests, and fellow associates
- Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand a guest’s service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility
- Ability to perform mathematical operations with units of measure including, but not limited to dollars, cents, feet, inches, cups, pounds and ounces
- Required to speak, read and write English, with fluency in other languages preferred
- Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 25 pounds, endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding
Qualifications :
- Additional Food & Beverage Certifications preferred
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel or equivalent work experience in a similar capacity
Salary Range: $16.3116-$21.7488
